Maybe you’ve already heard, but Food and Shelter has been given the distinguished honor of beneficiary of Le Tour de Vin 2012 and 2013. We are so excited.
Le Tour de Vin is a combined effort of all 3 Norman Rotary Clubs. They coordinate this effort to raise funds for their programs and services but also give a large portion of the proceeds to one very deserving Norman non-profit. With the funds raised at Le Tour de Vin 2012, Food and Shelter will be able to build additional shelter units to support homeless families in Norman. It will help us fill a great need for our community and move many women and children off of the streets.
As this project proceeds, we will certainly keep you all posted. In the meantime, we hope you will consider supporting Le Tour de Vin. Our dear friends Kathryn and Dewey Selmon have signed on as Honorary Chairs this year. It’s going to be great fun! Festivities are set for June 8th and 9th this year.
