We are Expanding our Permanent Supportive Housing Program

We have something wonderful to share—and we wanted you, our incredible supporters, to be the first to know!

Food and Shelter is expanding our Permanent Supportive Housing (PSH) program! As part of our Board of Directors' Strategic Plan to provide more housing to those experiencing homelessness, we’ve just had offers accepted on three housing units—and we’re set to close in early May!

This is a big deal because Permanent Supportive Housing is proven to be the most effective solution for people who are homeless. It offers not only a safe, permanent place to live but also wraparound services like case management that help folks heal, rebuild, and thrive. We've been doing this work for over ten years, and now three more people will soon have the chance to leave homelessness behind for good.

This project is fully funded—thanks to resources we’ve carefully set aside just for housing. Despite uncertainties at the federal level, these new homes will sustain themselves and continue serving our neighbors long-term. It’s a win for the people moving in—and a win for our entire Norman community.

We couldn’t have done this without you. Your support makes things like this possible. Every home we open, every life changed—it all starts with your compassion and belief in our mission.

Thank you for standing with us.
With gratitude and excitement,
Your Food and Shelter Team
